Christmas Appeal 2016

They were fleeing a violent home.

Escaping with little more than the clothes she was wearing and the love for her two children and, as is often the case, uncertainty and struggles.  Just this week, the young lady in her desperation,  contacted the CareWorks office for support.

With Christmas approaching, one wonders how she will be celebrating with her family on Dec 25.
This story could be repeated over and over at any of our Church care centres.

Around this time each year CareWorks turns its attention to the plight of people who are fleeing domestic violence and will struggle to celebrate at Christmas time.

And you can help to bring a little love and light to some struggling families this Christmas.
